Top 10 College & University Trusts or Endowments

The TRUST-worthy pledge

because all of the names with 'endowment' did not end well

Our Goal

Encourage colleges and universities to donate a sizable portion of their trusts (endowments) to neighboring communities and nonprofit organizations whose goal is to empower communities most in need.  To be 100% TRUST-worthy, an institution has to commit to donate the equivalent of 100% of the current value of their trust over a set number of years.  10 years?  10 % of the trust's current value, per year, for the next 10 years.

Why?

Because 10 miles from Harvard and MIT (combined trust of $55 billion) is where you will find the good people of Hyde Park, Roxbury, and Dorcester.  They deserve better.  Perhaps the next wave of large endowments (couldn't resist) could come from the rising tide this money would provide for these communities; and thousands more like them.
